About the Council

Rippingale Parish Council is made up of 7 elected councillors, supported by the Clerk to the Council, who meet regularly to make decisions on the work and direction of the Council.

Funding for the Parish Council comes from the Precept, which is collected through each householder’s Council Tax and other incomes. The work of the Council falls into three main categories: representing the local community, delivering services to meet local needs and striving to improve quality of life in the Parish.

Rippingale Parish Council provides and/or maintains the following services and village amenities: Row Garden Allotments, the Jubilee Playing Field, Hospital Car Service; Village Newsletter, Grass Cutting and this website. 

The Parish Council also works in partnership with Lincolnshire Police (Bourne & Billingborough Neighbourhood Policing Team), Lincolnshire County Council and South Kesteven District Council for other services such as waste & litter collection, planning development, street cleaning, tourism activities, open spaces and crime reduction measures.
